Neek Kaan is a new style of apartment complex, currently being developed on the Coast of Yucatan, in the Port of Progreso, Yucatán. The ideology of the complex is focused on using to maximum advantage the beauty of the sea and the coastal dune vegetation native to the region, to create an environment that is modern, comfortable, pleasant and functional for the owners.
The project, located in the heart of the area known as the Flamingo Coast, has been carefully designed with special attention given to the smallest details, in order to achieve the perfect harmony between nature and man. This has meant the rescue and relocation of various plant species, including the Chi’it (Trinax radiata), a species of palm tree currently in danger of extinction.
